(Justice in Islamic Thought)
The issue of justice is one of the fundamental issues of metaphysics, ethics, and politics in both classical and modern times. In particular, the field of ethics and politics cannot be conceived without the concept of justice. The questions of what justice means as a concept, what its components are, what are its complementary elements, and how to achieve justice at the individual or social level have always been on the agenda of moral and political thinkers. Today, the concept of justice retains the same vitality as in the classical period.
This book aims to provide a comprehensive perspective of these traditions by examining how justice is explained in the traditions of theology, philosophy, and Sufism, as well as in the literature of political science.
