The Islamic thought, which constitutes one of the liveliest areas of Turkey's political and intellectual life, emerges as a ideology that has spread to the grassroots and has various forms. It has been in constant communication with other ideologies, whether in conflict or in reconciliation, and therefore has opened up a broad ground that should not be confined to the political sphere in Turkish history. Although there have been numerous studies on the historical experience and contemporary transmission of Islamic thought, the scarcity of texts evaluated on a theoretical basis is noteworthy. This book, prepared by experts in the field, contains six sections that support and/or annotate each other, engaging in theoretical discussions. It aims to contribute to the studies by addressing the controversial issues that have recently emerged in Islamic thought and to open up new debates by following the current literature in these six sections.
