(Concept Development)
One of the most important and primary elements that ensure the continuity of a branch of science is the determination of its central concepts and ensuring its natural continuity. In particular, the studies to be carried out within the framework of social sciences give clues about the scientificization processes of the relevant branch of science, as well as the concepts that correspond to reasonable meanings in the field of that science and their attribution to a term/term that expresses the name of a meaning in language.
Today, the dominant concepts and related terminological expressions in social sciences are determined on the axis of the dominance of Eurocentric definitions and this concept-definition relationship ensures the continuation of Eurocentric interpretations. In this way, definitions made with concepts that are contrary to the core values and structure of the society prevent the production of authentic productions in social sciences. The development of a correct social science that takes into account the structure and culture of Islamic society and, accordingly, the provision of a correct scientific thinking ground necessitates a conceptual and theoretical framework that is indigenous and traceable in terms of its origins. This book has been prepared with the aim of establishing the basis for developing new concepts in social sciences in line with these requirements and identifying the areas of possibility.
