This book, which is an output of the Complete Works of Taşköprîzâde Project carried out jointly by the Association for Scientific Studies (ILEM) and the Foundation for Science, Art, History and Literature (İSTEV), consists of the analysis and translation of Taşköprülüzâde's treatises on logic. In this sense, "Etiquette of Debate" and "Commentary" were analyzed and translated by Berra Kepekçi, "The Summit of the Investigation on the Distinction of Knowledge as Conception and Assent" and "The Solution of the Problem of Complete Definition" were analyzed and translated by Mehmet Özturan, and "Explanation of the Closed Situation on the Issue of the 'Absolute Unknown'" was analyzed and translated by Harun Kuşlu as a result of meticulous work.
As part of the Complete Works of Taşköprîzâde Project, which aims to publish all of Taşköprülüzâde Ahmed Efendi's works, this is the first time that Taşköprülüzâde's treatises on logic have been published as a whole in the same book.
