(Rethinking Islam and the Ottoman Empire in the Modern Era)
The fourth Young Academics Meeting, where young researchers and academics come together to share knowledge and experience and discuss certain topics, was held on June 18-20, 2010. The two-day meeting was organized under the title of "New Issues and Solution Seeking" and the papers were presented in two days. The outputs of this study, which was carried out by institutions such as ILAM (Center for Scientific Research), ILEM, ISAGEM (Istanbul Academic Development and Education Center), ISAR (Istanbul Research and Education Foundation) and ISM (Center for Sciences and Arts), were compiled in a book for this meeting, as was done for the previous symposiums. In this meeting, new issues encountered in the world and the search for solutions to them were discussed. This book, which is compiled from some of the papers presented at these meetings, shares new knowledge in different fields.
