Said Halim Pasha is one of the most important intellectual and political thinkers of the last period of the Ottoman Empire. Although he lived the western experience of the opponent of his time, his mind was not seduced by the west, on the contrary, he held an indigenous and Islamist line against westernization and westernization. In his analyses and writings, Halim Pasha is extremely self-confident and approaches his social and political position in the context of this self-confidence.
