In terms of Islamic thought tradition, the 16th century, on the one hand, expresses the final phase of a long period, on the other hand, it heralds the next period in which these compositions are reconsidered and accounted for. In this sense, Taşköprülüzâde is a true 16th century thinker and gives a perfect representation of the age in which he lived. This book, which consists of fifteen articles that reveal the ontological and epistemological dimensions of Taşköprülüzâde's philosophy, brings to the agenda one of the most important names of Ottoman thought, which has been largely neglected by contemporary philosophy history studies.
