Journal of Human and Society aims to be a link between academia and real life. In this context, we aim to maintain our connection with both the academy and the life that affects, transforms and sometimes enriches us as human beings in the world we live in and to produce information that will benefit both fields. In this way, we hope that we will strengthen the academician's contact with the society in which he lives.
Although the source of Human and Society is the society we live in, critical and original studies that deal with human and society in all its breadth are important. In this respect, Human and Society aims to approach issues with a broader perspective than the disciplinary approaches of today's academia in terms of both its interests and approach style. While doing all this, we are aware that disciplinary competence is of great importance. Therefore, rather than interdisciplinary or multidisciplinary studies that have not internalized their own discipline, we aim to include original and critical approaches that can use both their own discipline and the methods and theories of other disciplines in our journal.
The language of İnsan ve Toplum is Turkish and English. Within the framework of the rigor required by academic publications, all articles will be published after the approval of at least two referees. The publication period of the journal is six months.
